The Art of Transforming Suffering
Based on Thich Nhat Hanh’s work, “No Mud, No Lotus”, we’ll be practicing mindful meditation, walking meditation, art (absolutely no experience necessary). We will include deep listening and speaking from the heart to explore the nutrients in our “mud” and how to transform them into “lotus flowers”! Perfect timing for mud season!

Workshop Fees
$300 commuter rate, includes lunch both days
$450 for a double room, including 2 nights & 6 meals
$550 for a private room, including 2 nights & 6 meals
Fees include program tuition, meals and lodging.

Mini Day of Mindfulness
At the Christ the King Church in Sheffield, Monastics from the Plum Village tradition (Thich Nhat Hanh’s order) will be offering a mini Day of Mindfulness for people in recovery. This is a very special event that will include a guided meditation, walking meditation, Dharma talk followed by a Vegetarian dinner. Day of Mindfulness
The same monks and nuns from Plum Village will offer a full day of Mindfulness at Smith College in Northampton on Saturday, September 21 from 9:30am-4pm. . It will include guided and sitting meditation, walking, deep relaxation and a teaching.

Green Gathering
The 1st of an ongoing monthly opportunity on the 1st Saturday of every month to come together to meditate, share some teachings of Thich Nhat Nahn and others, and offer each other deep listening with open hearts. Being With Loss During the Holidays
I am offering a group for those who have experienced a loss recently or long ago and are anxious about how to be with the approaching holidays. Holidays can be particularly difficult so this is a way to support each other and celebrate the beauty of those whom we miss. Online; Fee $40.00/group or $150 if paid in full.
