I am an Interfaith Interspiritual Minister, writer, expressive arts therapist, and mindfulness practitioner who lives in the liminal space of thresholds, openings and transformations. I live into life’s questions and it’s my passion to help others do the same.

My lifelong devotion to seeking the Divine in all things informs my practice of mentoring, companioning groups and individuals. Working with mindfulness, spirituality and the arts, I love helping people re-connect with the Divine Spark in their souls to address life challenges, especially when faced with change, trauma, grief and loss, addictions, aging. This reconnection, this coming home to one’s True Self: that is Viriditas, the greening of the soul.

My ministry is rooted in the mystical traditions of Catholicism, Sufism, Buddhism and Recovery with an attunement to all things Celtic. Drawing on my Roman Catholic roots, I am now also an initiate in the Sufi Inayatiyya Order and a member of Thich Nhat Hahn’s Order of Interbeing, Engaged Buddhism.

Years ago, I began exploring spirituality and the arts as a way to work with childhood wounding. Seeing how these elements could be interwoven to help me heal, I wanted to share what I had learned so I became a Certified Expressive Arts Therapist. I then was called to be a minister. I began offering my experience, strength and hope to clients and have offered workshops regionally and internationally for 30 + years.

Originally from Buffalo, New York, I currently reside in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts, USA. When not engaged in my practice or offering workshops, I can be found writing, cooking a new plant based recipe, or hiking through the Tyringham Valley.

Body

The Expressive Arts are a way to connect with your body and soul. Movement, painting, writing, music invite your deepest longings & your deepest hurts to become transparent and heal. I enjoy experimenting with writing, poetry, essays, painting and music. No art experience is necessary!

Mind

As a member of Thich Nhat Hanh’s Order of Interbeing, I practice mindfulness and engaged Buddhism. I am committed to compassion and respect for all beings. The principle of, “No Mud, No Lotus,” and the practice of seeing others in their wholeness helps me to be truly present for each person with whom I work.

Spirit

Viriditas, the greening of the soul, speaks to me of the ongoing process of spiritual growth throughout our lives. It’s an experience of unfoldment, sometimes challenging, but always richly rewarding. Spirit, the Divine Spark, Viriditas has always guided me.

Eileen’s ability to be present helps create a safe space to explore and heal from trauma. Her depth of knowledge and years of experience in many spiritual paths allows room for one to carve out and travel one’s own journey with depth, compassion and understanding.
